Environmental Education Grants Program Solicitation Notice for 2006

This document solicits grant proposals to support environmental education projects that promote environmental stewardship and help develop aware and responsible students, teachers, and citizens. This grant program provides financial support for projects which design, demonstrate, or disseminate environmental education practices, methods, or techniques as described in this notice.

Application Deadline: November 23, 2005

Number of Awards: 150 grants are estimated, subject to the availability of funds and the quality of applications received. Most grants will be in the $10,000 to $15,000 range.

Funding Amount: Approximately $3 million.
