Central Mississippi Resource Conservation and Development, Inc. (C MS RC&D) is one of six councils forming the Mississippi Association of Resource Conservation and Development Councils (MARCDC). RC&D helps to develop our natural and human resources for community improvements.

Central MS RC&D provides assistance to the following counties: Attala, Claiborne, Hinds, Leake, Madison, Neshoba, Rankin, Scott, Simpson, Warren, Winston, and Yazoo.

Projects and activities meet goals and objectives identified by a Council made up of representatives from each of the 12 counties. Funds and technical assistance are solicited from local, state and federal agencies as well as organizations, foundations and corporations.

RC&D is a program of local people determining their own needs, creating their own solutions to improve their quality of life and standard of living. Review the panel to the left for resource areas being addressed in central Mississippi.
